Anki FSRS explained: retention, intervals and workload
FSRS estimates how difficult a card is and how stable your memory has become, then schedules the next review around a chosen desired retention.
Higher desired retention generally means more frequent reviews. Lower retention reduces workload but accepts more forgetting.
Grade recall honestly. Do not use Hard or Easy just to manipulate the interval.
Use Anki with ready-made language content organised by level.
